It’s beautiful and well made. I love that the replacement parts are sold separately and I feel it’s affordable for the quality. The design is really thoughtful in that you can adjust the flow and remove the light if desired. I couldn’t find any other similar products that are all glass. I do wish the replacement filters were available elsewhere than amazon as I prefer not to give them my business, but I understand it’s probably for ease of fulfillment reasons. I also have a suggestion for an optional add on stem that would go up a little higher have have side spouts as one of my cats seems to prefer a small stream of water (I’m still running her old fountain that has a plastic flower spout on top as I haven’t seen her use the brook yet). Hopefully she takes to it over time as it is.

I had a good feeling about this company when I contacted them before buying with some questions, and they replied almost immediately with detailed answers. I decided to give it a go and, well, the fountain exceeded all expectations! Easy to clean, no slime on the glass like my “stainless” steel one used to get, water stays cleaner longer - and it looks so good! Tim and Missy can’t get enough! Thank you!!

My 2 cats love this fountain. I actually see them drinking from it multiple times a day. My one cat prefers the water that bubbles up, and the other drinks from the dish. I have never seen my cats at any other fountain this regularly. It’s also very easy to maintain and keep clean.

Our boy cat took a few days to warm up to using the fountain, now it is his favorite water source. Would like to buy another one but they care out of stock

I really love this fountain. It has few parts (none of which are small and difficult to deal with) and is very easy to clean and maintain. You can tell if it's dirty and needs a wash just by looking at it. The basin is wide and accessible for cats and small dogs. It holds a lot of water, though it does need to be refilled daily (for cleanliness' sake & also because it will evaporate since it's not in an enclosed basin like most pet fountains). Parts are readily available if you need replacements, sans the carbon pouch basket, which I wish they would sell! There's not a single other pet fountain brand out there that sells all of the replacement parts you may need (you don't technically need the carbon pouch but it will prolong filter lifespan). I recommend scrubbing all parts of this fountain once or twice per week to prevent buildup of scum and biofilm - a sponge, straw cleaner (for the tube), and dish soap is sufficient. However, the ONLY con to this fountain is a pretty major one. It is VERY heavy, and becomes VERY slippery when wet and covered in biofilm. This makes it legitimately dangerous to wash outside of something like a sturdy farm sink or a bathtub. Do NOT try and wash this thing in any other kind of sink. The basin is seriously so heavy that it could crash through your sink if you drop it. Also, today, I was admittedly in a rush while washing mine & tried to finish up by washing the small parts in my bathroom sink, and I dropped the fountainhead from a few inches up... it shattered the moment it hit the sink basin and cut my finger. I'm technically still able to use the fountain since you can just put the pump in the basin without the fountainhead or tube, but it's not as aesthetically pleasing. So please, PLEASE don't get impatient or try to wash any part of this fountain outside of a bathtub or a super sturdy sink, because this thing weighs as much as a cast iron pan. And DO wear dishwashing gloves that will give you a better grip on the glass parts than bare soapy hands will. Despite this, I still believe that this fountain is the best option when it comes to pet fountains. I'll deal with having to be careful about washing glass before I will ever go back to the plastic-based fountains with a million tiny parts & biofilm that never seems to disappear no matter how much you scrub.

Very high quality solid thic glass, worth the price.- All see through glass parts in open layout allows me to spot immediately whenever the water is needs refill or cleaning.- 3 Simple parts, easy to Assemble and Dissemble for cleaning- ❤️MY CAT LOVES IT (8YO with UTI history) He had two surgeries lately and this fountain helped him stay hydrated through recovery. ❤️‍🩹- He digs his head in the ring to lick, he has not figured out the center globe is lickable yet, haha- My cat drinks more water in one sitting than all his previous plastic and stainless steel fountains.🥲Cons:I had to nock off 1 star because cleaning and refill is a bit high maintenance for ADHD butler with a picky drinker cat.FYI: If you run dishwasher frequently or don’t mind hand cleaning this heavy thing and refilling fresh water every 2-3 days, or your cat is not very picky with water freshness, you can def skip this part of my review.- Water gets a bit cloudy in 2-3 days, probably due to the large contact surface, but it’s the exact feature that my cat likes. - It’s def a workout to lift with all the water, dragging this thing to my sink and moving it back with fresh water does make me break a sweat. - The glass compartments still get slimy like plastic and stainless steel in 3 days. But I still think it’s superior material for cat fountain. - Lifting the whole bowl with one hand and scrubbing with my other hand is a whole arm and wrist work out. I know it’s dish washer safe, I just don’t have enough dirty dishes to justify a full dishwasher run that quickly. - Though not loud, it’s also not the most quiet water fountain, if you’re hypersensitive to water sounds like me it will tickle your brain a little but I kind of got used to it. I like that you have option to turn off the light and adjust water flow volume.Overall still an amazing, well designed, high quality cat fountain, you can tell the inventors put lots of thoughts into this product and did not skimp on material and development cost❤️

When I was recommended this pet fountain, I thought it was so cute. I just didn’t know if my very senior, picky cat would love it as much as I did. I ordered it on a Friday and received it that Sunday…pretty quick! It was equally quick to clean and set up. The glass is superb; it is so thick and clear. It is definitely heavy!! So be aware of that. I sat there with my cat and just admired the Brook Pet Fountain. I kept thinking I should put some tiny little plastic fish in there to entertain my cat and me while we admired the flowing water. 😄

After setting up, using the low flow reducer, my cat was interested. She didn’t like it in the middle, so I scooted it more toward the back. She actually drank out of it within about 30 minutes. Success!! My cat also has kidney disease, so getting her to drink enough water is a big concern for me.

Some of the draw backs are that the glass bowl is quite heavy. Putting it down initially is fine, because you can fill it up on the ground. But picking it up with water in it to clean it was a bit of a chore. Having to clean it every week is no fun, when you are assuming the filter will pick up the slack. I cleaned after 4 days of use the first time. Then I let it go for 1 week. That was not a good idea. The water became murky and when I took off the filter ring it had some slimy brown stuff on it. I cleaned everything and oh…I do use filtered water for my drinking and my cat. Another thing is that the bowl is about 1" too tall for my cat. She likes to lie down when eating or drinking. She also did not like the blue light, so it was great that you included a cover for it.

Otherwise, I think the Brook Pet Fountain is an amazing concept and beautiful to add to any type of decor you may have. And it is Mochi approved!
